Our Philosophy
Life felt full, busy, and constantly moving. Days filled up quickly, and even the quiet moments didn’t always feel restful. We found ourselves craving something simple — a way to slow down, to reconnect, and to bring a sense of peace back into our home.
The vision of Honey & Hive began in our own home, but we realized it was never meant to stay there.
We created Honey & Hive because we wanted to impact other homes — to encourage time together, deeper relationships, and real connection. To step away from the constant pull of phones and distractions, and to bring something beautiful and meaningful back into everyday life.
Inspired by the truth:
Our candles are designed to be small, tangible reminders to pause, breathe, and return to what matters most. Not just every once in a while, but every day. Creating those habits of time with your Bible in the morning by a candle glow. Or instead of endlessly scrolling, picking up a book in the evening while your family relaxes by candlelight.
From the beginning, we have known that what we brought into our home mattered.
That’s why every Honey & Hive candle is made from 100% pure beeswax — a natural wax treasured for centuries for its clean burn, warm glow, and quiet simplicity
No synthetic fragrance. No fillers. Just light — the way it was meant to be.
Our candles aren’t meant to sit on a shelf. They’re meant to be lit.
They are a simple way to create space for stillness — right in the middle of real life.
A flicker of light.
A shared meal.
A quiet pause.
Our hope is that Honey & Hive becomes part of those moments in your home — helping you step away from the noise and into something more grounded, more present, and more meaningful.
Honey & Hive is still rooted in our home, and every candle reflects what we’re learning ourselves — how to slow down, how to be present, and how to create space for what matters most.
